Mission

Mobilize support from families, small businesses, and community partners to fund practical, nonprofit-led initiatives that benefit low-income residents and vulnerable groups.

Goals

  • Fund at least 8 small-scale community projects across The Village & OKC metro.
  • Build a network of 50+ recurring volunteers.
  • Establish a transparent community micro‑grant fund with public impact updates.

Social Impact

Basic well‑being

Food support, essential household kits, and minor home repairs for families in need.

Community bonding

Block events, neighborhood days, and beautification of shared spaces.

Empowerment

Support resident‑led committees to sustain and scale what works.

Community Micro‑Grants

Seed funding (USD 1,000–5,000 per project) for resident‑initiated ideas with clear, local benefit.

“Green Alleys, Clean Streets”

Neighborhood clean‑ups, tree planting, small paint & repair efforts to improve shared spaces.

Stability Support

Food vouchers, household essentials, and seasonal kits for vulnerable neighbors.

Local Partnerships

Collaboration with small businesses, faith groups, and resident associations.

Oklahoma Community Connection Day 2025

Where: Community Park, The Village, OK

What’s happening

  • Public space refresh: repaint benches, plant trees, and neighborhood clean‑up.
  • Sharing booth: swap clothes, books, and useful household items.
  • Resource fair: local small businesses, faith organizations, and community groups.
  • Kids zone: games, drawing corner, and a mini eco‑challenge.
  • Community food corner: sponsored local bites—free for attendees.

How to join

  • Volunteer for a morning or afternoon shift.
  • Donate in‑kind items (clothes, books, essentials).
  • Host a booth or help with logistics.

Recent Impact Story

“Small Playground — Big Joy” (Aug 2025)

A USD 3,000 micro‑grant helped residents refurbish and install play equipment in a low‑income housing area, creating a safer space for 40+ children. Local volunteers finished the work in two weekends with support from three small businesses in The Village.
